How To Read Drug Packaging
Expiry Date
The expiry date information appears stamped on the product packaging with an “EXP” followed by the month and year of expiry. For example, EXPMA06 would indicate the product expires in May, 2006.

Other abbreviated dates appear as follows:
  • JA = January
  • FE = February
  • MR = March
  • AL = April
  • MA = May
  • JU = June
  • JL = July
  • AU = August
  • SE = September
  • OC = October
  • NO = November
  • DE = December


Using products beyond their expiration dates is not recommended.
